College Application
Procedure |

Step 1. – Meet with your counselor to narrow down
colleges that you are applying to and review college’s requirements |

Step 2. – Fill out Student Information Sheet (Form 1) -copies
will be made to distribute to the teachers and one copy will be kept
in your file. |

Step 3. – Fill out a Transcript Release Form (Form 2)
(Please put TO ALL COLLEGES AND SCHOLARSHIPS ON THE FORM).
- The first transcript is free; transcripts there after will
be $5.00
- Transcripts to scholarships are free.
- Please make sure your parents sign the release, even if you
are 18…

Step 4. – Ask teachers, counselors, or administrators for
recommendations (make sure you give the recommender two weeks before
you need the recommendation) |

Step 5. – Fill out application (if you need any help or have
any questions don’t hesitate to make an appointment with your
counselor) |
|
| |
Step 6. – Bring the application to the Guidance Office. Your
counselor will check over the application and add needed materials
(i.e. transcript, letters of recommendation, report cards, etc.) **If
you apply on-line it is your responsibility to notify the Guidance
Office to send out your transcript. |

**You must give the Guidance Office two weeks
to process your application,
please be aware of deadlines… |

The Guidance Office will mail the following materials:
- Application
- Application Fee or Fee Waiver
- Transcript
- Student Essay (if required)
- Letters of Recommendation
- School Profile
